Paul Banman

PAUL BANMAN, producer, music director, and pianist/keyboardist, brings an eclectic musical experience to all his musical endeavors. Paul has performed with legendary jazz artists - Pete Mingertrumpet, Jerry Hahn-guitarist, Othello Molineauxsteel pan in his career, and also toured internationally with 60's favorites "The Lettermen", played Swiss resorts with the "BB White Group", as well as performing numerous national and local dates as musical director with Robin Avery and the "Robin Avery Band" including concert opening act for Bruce Hornsby at SunFest. Paul has performed with highly acclaimed Jamaican born guitarist & composer Eugene Grey for over 10 years at numerous festivals, including the Ocho Rios Jazz Festival, and other concert venues. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Music Composition) Degree from Wichita State University, studied Jazz Performance one year at the University of Miami, and is a member of ASCAP. Production credits include 2012 release Love Me Now - Bickley Rivera, 2005 release The Way You Hold Me - Robin Avery and the August 2008 release Light The Way - Robin Avery. Paul counts as major musical influences Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, George Duke, McCoy Tyner, Wayne Shorter, Olivier Messiaen, and Bela Bartok.
